About Diwali Wishes

Diwali Wishes is run by Diwali Wishes. We built this website for two simple reasons: to help people send warm, personal Diwali wishes, and to invite them to share a meal with someone in need during the festival.

Free Diwali greetings

Our greeting card maker lets anyone create a personalised Diwali card in Hindi or English, download it, or share it on WhatsApp. It is free and needs no sign-up.

Diwali food donation drive

Visitors who wish to can contribute to our food donation drive using our BharatPe UPI QR code. Every donation is checked manually against our UPI account before it is marked as verified, and our public counter only shows verified donations. Read our Donation Policy for details on how donations are received, verified and used.

How the website is funded

Running costs (server, domain and maintenance) are covered by advertising shown on some pages. Advertising revenue is kept completely separate from donations: donations are never used to pay for the website, and we never show advertising on the donation page.
